The pitch mount is designed to produce crisper gear shifts by preventing the front end of the transmission from shaking up or down, forward and back. It's designed to significantly reduce "shudder" and sloppy feel under hard acceleration as well as deceleration.

  • Your Subaru Pitch Stop Mount is located under the factory top-mount intercooler between the firewall and the front end of the transmission. In order to remove and replace your factory pitch stop mount you will need to remove your top mount intercooler.
